While Chair of Clark+Kanner in Santa Monica California 1996-2002 Tim started up the LA Chapter in 1995, was founding President of RIBA-USA and created its original website in 1997. He negotiated RIBA-USA's status as an official AIA-CES provider, coordinated its national surveys and led the very successful RIBA-USA mission to Beijing and Zhengzhou, China in May 2004. He is registered as an architect with the UK, NY and CA Boards. In 2007 Tim became Regional Director with ATKINS UK then Director of Architecture for the Dubai Metro. Since 2010 he has been based in Qatar where he is Resident Director for OBERMEYER, currently seconded as a rail specialist to support DB International on the Doha Metro project.
