Former National Director of the AIA, Team Chair for NAAB and
officer in the local RI chapter of the AIA. Committed to advancing
the cause of mutual recognition on licensing between the UK

and improving the representation of US based RIBA members in
RIBA’s overseas policy and encouraging a closer alliance with

Tim
Clark, MA, RIBA
is qualified in architecture, education and arbitration and was Chair of
Clark+Kanner in Santa Monica California until 2002. He started up the LA Chapter in
1995, was founding President of RIBA-USA and created its original website in 1997.
He negotiated RIBA-USA's status as an official AIA-CES provider, coordinated its
national surveys and led the very successful RIBA-USA mission to Beijing and
Zhengzhou, China in May 2004. Tim is registered with ARB in the UK and licensed to
practice as an architect in NY & CA. In 2007 he became
Regional Director with Atkins and is now based in Arabia, working on the Dubai Metro
