NEWS

July 2011
On her recent visit as RIBA President Elect and guest of James Michael for the Brunel Awards, Angela Brady met up with Dr Raj Barr, Chair RIBA-USA Washington Chapter, to discuss upcoming events in 2011 and 2012 which will include a reception and discussions with the AIA in October 2011 and the RIBA-USA 2012 Annual General Meeting to be held in May of next year

This is the first visit of an RIBA President Elect to the US and illustrates the growing recognition of overseas members and the activities of what is now the largest RIBA region outside the UK. No newcomer to RIBA-USA, Angela was a part of the RIBA-USA Delegation to China (under the past presidency of George Fergusson) organized by Tim Clark RIBA-USA Founder.
